หลักการและเหตุผล
การบัญชีบริหารเป็นการนำข้อมูลทางการบัญชีและข้อมูลอื่น ๆที่เกี่ยวข้องมาจัดทำการวิเคราะห์ในรูปแบบต่าง ๆที่ผู้ใช้ข้อมูลต้องการ ซึ่งจะถูกนำไปใช้ในการวางแผน ควบคุม และ ตัดสินใจในกิจการได้อย่างถูกต้องและใกล้เคียงความเป็นจริงมากที่สุด อย่างไรก็ตามด้วยข้อมูลทางบัญชีในปัจจุบันมีจำนวนมากมหาศาล ทำให้การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเพื่อจัดทำบัญชีบัญชีเป็นไปด้วยความยาก ใช้เวลานาน และ มีความถูกต้องน้อย การใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Excel เป็นการช่วยวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล สามารถนำไปสร้างแบบจำลองการเงิน ด้านการวางแผนการเงิน เพื่อใช้ในการตัดสินใจ ทำให้องค์กรได้ข้อมูลถูกต้อง ตรงความต้องการ และทันต่อการนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ต่อไป

- เพื่อให้บุคคลากรทั่วไปมีความรู้ความเข้าใจด้านการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล
