Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer's Day?

Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer's Day?

Because the 14th of February isn’t the only day for falling in love. Let’s talk about summer love, shall we?

Summer is the warmest season of the year. During this season, people take advantage of the long, sunny days by spending time outside and breathing in the fresh air. It’s time for school breaks and water splashing festival. Countless trees and plants bear fruits, and many love stories have been recounted.

Summer is often known as the most romantic season. As the sky fills with brightness and the calm summer winds, love fill the air. Some people enjoy and share love to the one they cherish, while others learn to accept fading love during this season. Some couples are destined to part ways for the summer, returning to their homes across the nation, and loss is inescapable.

The summer also inspired William Shakespeare, the renowned playwright, to write his world-famous sonnet 18 l : Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
