An intensive course and workshop for creative people who are interested in working with technology: creating interactive installations, or media art. If you are interested in combining technology, art and design but don't know where to start, this workshop is for you. No programming background is required.

*Conducted in English with Thai facilitator. 


Requirement: a laptop with internet connection


Price

Professionals: 4,000 baht (inclusive of lunch, breaks and beverages)

Instructor 


Kyle McDonald


Kyle McDonald is an international artist who works in the open with code. He is a contributor to arts-engineering toolkits like openFrameworks. Kyle is an adjunct professor at New York University's Tisch - School of the Arts. He is also a member of F.A.T. Lab, a community manager for openFrameworks, and an artist in residence at STUDIO for Creative Inquiry at Carnegie Mellon, as well as YCAM in Japan. He collaborated with Google Creative Lab and Twitter IPO. His work is commissioned by and shown at exhibitions and festivals around the world, including: Ars Electronica, Sonar/OFFF, Eyebeam, Anyang Public Art Project, Cinekid, CLICK Festival, NODE Festival, FITC, and many others. Prior to this trip to Thailand, he lead a workshop in computer vision and interaction at School of Machines, Making and Make-Believe in Berlin.

Educated in Bangkok, Tokyo and New York, Jinny Sarakoses is a guest lecturer at Faculty of Architecture and Design, KMUTT. She is also a speaker and facilitator of Big Toy Workshop by Thai Toy Association.
