Let’s join ‘Ephemeral construction by Olivier Grossetete’.
The Monumental Constructions Participative in cardboard are appointments given to the population to build together a utopian architecture “a dream of a kid” a collective performance. The public is invited to assemble empty boxes of boxes to build a building without crane or machine, only with human energy and strength of arms. We invite the inhabitants of a city to gather together around the building of a utopian, ephemeral and derisory building, and to live together an artistic experience.
Looking for 30 volunteers
Lunch for 5 days (during 1, 3-6 December 2017)
No compensation, but get certificate from TCDC Chiang Mai after activities finished.
Participants:
- Adults, Children from 15 years (college, school of art …) elderly people etc.
- Being friendly and teamwork.
- Available during 1 and 3-6 and 10 December, 2017.
Activities
1. Welcoming participants, presentation of photos and videos: the artist's career and achievements.
2. Presentation of the construction plans and instructions for use and explanation of the instructions for the cut-outs and the assemblies.
3. Putting into practice: Realization of the specific parts in relation to the plans to constitute the different elements such as doors, vaults, roofs.
4. Storage and storage of parts realized.
