Design Thinking Basics for Everyone

The interactive workshop consists of three parts: Design Thinking Concept; Design Thinking Case, Process, and Innovation; and Design Thinking Workshop. The workshop is open to everyone regardless of age, experience, and background, interested in the topic.

Through examples and exemplars of design thinking, learners will be introduced key methods, basic brainstorming rules, brainstorming exercise, rapid prototyping exercise, and narrative and storytelling exercise. Learners will learn how they may use design thinking to enhance their career, way of life, attitude, and life.

Dr.Non Arkaraprasertkul is a senior Lecturer in Urbanism at the University of Sydney, he is developing a new pedagogical and research approach utilizing the synergy between anthropological inquiry and design thinking. His research interests lie at the crossroads of transdisciplinary research between design and the social sciences. His educational backgrounds are PhD & MA (Harvard University); MPhil (The University of Oxford); SMArchS and Urban Design Certificate (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
