Prepare yourself, Coconauts of Bangkok, for quite possibly the greatest food festival our fair city has ever witnessed… 

Food is the star of the show at YUM FEST and we are proud to bring you 40 vendors serving up everything from their mom’s best Thai recipes, to the gooiest pizzas, to live oysters and takoyaki. Once you’ve secured your yums, take a seat in our rural-chic chill out zone where you can enjoy food and watch the world go by. 

In addition to ice cold Singha beer, YUM FEST will feature four cocktails created exclusively for YUMMERS by Bootleggers Trading Co., Ltd. using the best of local spirits mixed with the best of international tonics and syrups, namely Fentimans Thailand Tonics and House of Broughton Syrups.

One of the focal points of YUM FEST is what’s happening onstage. Our live music line-up is headlined by All-Thidsa Molam Band on Saturday March 10, fresh off some amazing shows at Wonderfruit festival. They’ll be bringing their unforgettable brand of rural Thai psychedelic jams to inspire YUMMERS to dance off some of those calories.

On Sunday March 11, get ready for Somkiat, the Thai indie rock band on the rise. We can't stop listening to their song ช่างมัน (Whatever)!

Explore the area with Expique's signature Tuk Tuk Tours at a special price for Yum Fest goers. The tour starts at Yum Fest and explores Klong San market before heading to Tha Din Daeng and Wong Wian Yai to sample street food goodies that only the pros know. Then get dropped back at Yum Fest to gorge some more!

Tours will depart from Yum Fest at 3:30pm and 6pm on March 10 and March 11 and last around 2 hours. Book now by emailing bangkok@coconuts.co or book on the day (if space allows).

When the stage isn’t being held down by our musicians, it will be the place to see two unbelievable eating contests. The Somtam Chili Challenge will up the ante by asking participants to eat ever-spicier dishes of somtam until there is only one Chili King or Queen standing.

The Isaan Sausage Eating Challenge hosted by Pangina Heals is all about quantity. This challenge will ask hungry entrants to eat as many as the sour, tangy, meaty balls as they can handle. Pangina, of Drag Race Thailand, Lip Sync Battle, and The Face fame, will also perform for the Yum Fest audience!
