ABOUT SUSTAINABLE BRANDS BANGKOK


Sustainable Brands Bangkok is the sole global platform in Thailand that connects companies and creators. Attendees redesign theirproducts and services with a mindset attuned to the dynamic economy and current social conditions.

Led by Dr. Sirikul Laukaikul since 2015, SB Bangkok has already gathered more than 1,500 innovative, purpose-driven minds from leading brands, government bodies, educational institutions and inspirational public figures to exchange strategies, constructive partnership and practical sustainability solutions in Thailand and countries around the world.

Major brands leaders like PTT, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), Toyota, Casio, Doi Kham, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), AIS, CSR Labs and Ecoalf have attended and shared actionable insights that adapts to sustainability threats and trends.

Last year in 2017, SB Bangkok united over 400 attendees and more than 80 brands across Thailand, Asia, Europe and America by a common passion for progress towards sustainability leadership. It has created many positive opportunities in partnerships and collaborations for many individuals and brands. Some leading collaborations formed at SB Bangkok include Betagro x Jeh Jong in the food industry and PTTGC x TAT x Ecoalf on recycling projects.

REDESIGNING THE GOOD LIFE
 
In conjunction to the three year initiative launched by Sustainable Brands last year  (2017) on Redefining the Good Life, the journey takes on it’s second phrase – Redesigning the Good Life.

Through extensive research Sustainable Brands Bangkok ascertain that there is a makeshift definition on what ‘The Good Life’ is today. We have learned that consumers tastes are changing from an emphasis on money and status, to a desire for a simpler, balanced life — one where wealth is measured in rich human relationships and strong connection with the environment, rather than digits in a bank account.

This year, our “Good Life” initiative continues with a global showcase of brands that embody this spirit of balance and simplicity.

Redesigning the Good Life will help organizations and brands home in on their true purpose and uncover their connection to the wider sphere of social good and environmental change

Launched in 2006, Sustainable Brands is now a globally recognized community platform that gathers forward-thinking brands, entrepreneurs and businesses of all  different fields to interact, innovate and work towards sustainability.

With events and conferences hosted in more than 10 cities around the world, Sustainable Brands has already created many positive, sustainable business opportunities among invited speakers, moderators, and attendees.
