We are pleased to announce the next event in our Watt’s Up? Meetup Series: a project showcase, fireside chat, and relaxed networking session to discuss various topics in smart energy solutions. Whether you are a software developer, project leader, IT professional or cleantech enthusiast - there is something here for you!

💡This month's Watt’s Up will feature the winning teams from last month’s Smart Energy Hackathon!

We’re proud to have HiVE Enerkey, 4EV and Carbonet come in to showcase their project in a less pressurized setting, share what they’ve been working on, and what their plans are going forward with the product.

Each team will talk for 10 minutes to present their work, while the audience will have a chance to submit questions throughout the talk to have them addressed at the end. We will then open the floor to other hackathon teams to share any progress of their project and give all participants the opportunity to get feedback from their peers. This will be a great chance for teams to get additional input for the next iteration of their product.

About Carbonet

Carboneth is a blockchain-based approach to automate the process of Carbon Credits Evaluations while maintaining transparency and integrity. Carboneth digitizes carbon credits into tokens on blockchain platforms. Carboneths represents carbon credits in digital form on the blockchain. When the meters reads energy production, it sends its readings to the blockchain network which then triggers the code that calculates and issues the carbon credits based on the readings, then transfer the created token to the owner of the meter (configured by the project owner).
