TEDxChiangMai 2019 will feature a line-up of inspiring speakers, workshops, and activities that call for meaningful change, help us find common ground, turn small ideas into big ones, and give a voice to those with ideas worth spreading.
Our first TEDxChiangMai event was in 2011. For TEDxChiangMai 2019, we will have 20+ speakers and performers, workshop, activities, and after events. The speakers (from Thailand, US, Hong Kong, Ireland, ...) are from different fields including science, research, business, technology, and the arts. The talks will be in both Thai and English - we provide a full simultaneous translation.
Our venue is the Northern Science Park (Canal Road). The TEDxChiangMai ticket includes access to the event, coffee, tea, water, snacks, printed program, souvenirs, lunch, and an entry ticket to the post-event party.
Our event is organized by volunteers, non-commercial (we do have sponsors but they work with us more like partners) and is not a fund-raiser (this is not permitted under the license policy terms.) We charge for tickets to cover some of our costs. The event is independently organized under license from TED (www.ted.com).
