You can buy record pockets, but not attitude! Not too many years ago, Pauli Pocket stood in the club with a plastic bag from the discounter, pulling the disks out of which she got the dance floor moving. Attitude meets Aldi bag. In addition to the records, she also had her father in her luggage, as she was not yet old enough to be allowed to go to clubs on her own. Perhaps this story from the early days of Pauline's career also touches us so much because it reminds us of how we all dragged the heavy kilos of vinyl in laundry baskets, boxes and mailboxes to the first gigs many years ago and because these stories are in today highly professional and organized techno circus have become so rare. In the meantime, there is hardly a club left in Berlin, from Kater and Sisyphos to Sucide Circus, Watergate to Renate, in which Pauli is not regularly on the decks. Pauline now owns a case, attitude as ever, and otherwise she's all in our pockets with her straight, forward-moving sets anyway.

Born and raised in Berlin, Germany, Foolik has over a decade experience in bringing his kinetic and bouncy sounds to global audiences. He is known as the karate kid chopping through the wood of worldwide dance floors at roughly 120-124 beats per minute. His punchy and beefy take on everything house and techno is highly appreciated by a dedicated raver following. Being a true Berliner, he drinks battery acid for breakfast and spits it out in musical form. Often making the hips of his crowds wobble and heave. His energising presence and in your face mentality has won over many crowds. His sound is adaptable and matches the place and time of the occasion. He plays a mix of propulsive deep house and tech-house. But there is always room for melody and groove. Since joining Sisyphos in 2012, he has made his mark in the scene and now professionally collects frequent flyer miles.

He loves to share the decks with his regular playing partners Pauli Pocket and Leon Licht. Ping ponging of each others energy to bring blissful moments to hordes of ravers.

Meanwhile, he can be found working in the studio shaping his production skills. His new life as a studio tiger has been fruitful. With a split release on KaterMukke with Daniel Jaeger & Pauli Pocket. A modern slice of muscular tech-house that got amplifiers working

overtime in clubs across Europe. The future will see more of his work being released.

If you ask anyone about Davide in the Hamburg or Germany scene you will soon discover that this guy has moved and positively mixed up quite a few things within the music and especially party scene.

Davide knows how to put on parties and keep them packed week-in, week-out. He operated two clubs eight and nine years and he is responsible for the musical development in the electronic music sphere. He left his club ́s for new bigger projects in 2016,

currently he is responsible for the bookings in several clubs in his hometown Hamburg. His weekly JEUDI parties in Hamburg, have become notorious, as has the record label under the same name (JEUDI). This label was founded 7 years ago by Doctor Dru, Adana

Twins and Davidé and its simply become impossible to imagine the international charts without it. Names like: CamelPhat, Innellea, Chaim, Doctor Dru, Adana Twins, Finnebassen, Camea, D- Nox & Beckers, Monte and Sidney Charles are only some members that belong to the JEUDI family. If you can't catch him at his resident clubs in Hamburg, it's most likely that he's traveling somewhere... may it be South America, Ibiza or Asia, where he enjoys spending time behind the DJ booth with big names like Jamie Jones, Sven Väth, Tiefschwarz, Fritz Kalkbrenner and/or Victor Ruiz. His newest EP is about to come out on (you guessed it) his own label by Jeudi Records.

From the dancefloor to the dj-booth, Vabu literally kickstarted into

Hamburg’s Techno scene over the past two years. After collecting

first dj experiences at Bollwerk in her hometown Lübeck, she soon

got involved with her crew ‘Harmonie im Bassgewitter’ and played

her first official gigs. While playing throughout the clubs in

Hamburg, she is now also booked for venues in Berlin and

Hannover, as well as for festivals like Habitat, Feel Festival,

Bachblyten & Dunkle Vorahnung. Mesmerizing rhythm and deep

melodies combined with minimal elements create Vabus unique

vibe and keeps the dancefloor tripping.

Le Filou began his musical career 15 years ago. It was the hype

around Drum and Bass as well as Jungle, which motivated him

to create his own music. First records inspired by labels such as

True-Playaz or RAM-Records can still be found in his repertory

to date. Classical elements of recording like turntables or battlemixer

still influence his style and shape his individual way of

creating DJ-Sets.

Therefore it didn’t take long until he was given the opportunity

to perform on stage at underground events: To date, the

‘Innocent Raves’ can still be seen as a household name to people

from the Rhein-Main region. His entrance to the Kunstverein

Karlsruhe e.V. was followed by several larger gigs in and around

the city. Well-known clubs such as the Element (Karlsruhe),

MS Connexion (Mannheim) and Gotec (Karlsruhe) finally led to

his performance at “Das Fest” in 2004. He was furthermore

active for a few more years with various of his own events,

which he arranged with the Wicked-INC Crew Karlsruhe, until he

decided to take a small creative break.

With his Comeback in 2015, Le Filou presented a concept that

turned out to be successful within just a couple of months:

Techno in all its many aspects, coined by influences of the early

years, offering an unmistakable sound with heart and soul to its

listeners. Far from any kind of mainstream, he has gained the

attention of the masses and continues to create an exhilarating

atmosphere. As an established part of the nightlife in Karlsruhe,

his sound ensures endless nights. His definition of intensity is

sub-bass.

After learning to mix as a teenager in a friends kitchen back in 1996 on a pair of 1210s, Rob Gritton realised his passion for dance music, However, it wasn't until moving from the UK to the 'party paradise island' of Koh Phangan, Thailand in 2005 that his DJ career really began. 2009 he opened the legendary Beach Lounge Bar in Haadrin, home to the world famous Full Moon Party, playing a mixture of underground house and techno and was quickly noticed for his DJ skills and impeccable music selection. It wasn't long before Rob was playing the bigger parties and festivals on the island, most notably Jungle Experience, where he has held a residency since 2010 playing to crowds of up to 8000. He also holds a monthly residency on the G Floor of the incredible Half Moon Festival and plays outstanding 6 hour sets every month at the uber popular Moon House at the world's largest monthly beach party-The Full Moon Party. Rob is also a regular face behind the decks at events across S.E.Asia, playing alongside some of the biggest names in house and techno.

Studio production was next on the list for Rob and after the completion of his own studio and a handful of releases on labels, he launched Moon Island Records in 2013 with his good friend, Anjuna Deep recording artist, Rory Gallagher. The label became the main platform to release his productions, and they so impressed Orbital’s Phil Hartnoll, that he asked Rob to join him in remixing Darren Emerson's 'What is it' which came out on Bulletdodge in 2017. The friendship continued with further remixes on the cool DeepDownDirty label, including JawJee - Enlightenment in 2018. 2019 has already been a good year, release wise most notably, so far, another colaboration this time with long term friend Jourdan Bordes and the track 'Rain Dancin', which came out on Phonetic Recordings and was charted in the BeatPort tech house hype chart. Rob’s solo work can also be found on a variety of other labels including Jungle Funk, Reflective Music, LW Recordings, Unseen Records Columbia, Vector Records 2.0, Soundwaves, RE:Vibe Music, RH2 and Taux Music.

'Living the dream' as a DJ/Producer/Label Owner/Event Organizer on Koh Phangan for over twelve years, Rob Gritton finally returns to the UK in 2019. The impending tour will include The Peach Reunion on 19th April and other notable gigs.

Having secured his place as one of S.E Asia’s biggest Dj’s, living and breathing underground house and techno, it won’t be too long before he makes his mark on the rest of the world.
