We are pleased to announce the next event in our Watt’s Up? Meetup Series: a project showcase, fireside chat, and relaxed networking session to discuss various topics in clean energy. Whether you are a software developer, project leader, IT professional or cleantech enthusiast - there is something here for you!

💡This month's topic will be the congruence of Solar Power Plants and Information Technology

Who? Florian Bennhold - CEO and Director of Symbior Solar, Hugo DesRosiers - CEO and Director of Symbior Energy

Where? KX Innovation Center, 13th Floor (map)

When? Friday 28th September, 6pm

This month, we’re proud to showcase how Big Data, IoT and automatisation are becoming de-facto requirements to sustain the rapid expansion of solar power generation in Southeast Asia.  Speakers Florian Bennhold and Hugo DesRosiers from Symbior Solar, a leading solar power project developer and operator in Southeast Asia, will share their insights and experience from a decade of deep involvement in the sector.  The Symbior brand is well known for their high-performance solar farms and solar rooftop systems in many countries of Southeast Asia as well as for their innovative approaches.

Come join us and learn more about how the megawatts of renewable energy lead to gigabytes of data processing requirements, and how the latest hardware and software technologies are moving into a world of electrical devices where kilobytes of memory and 9600 baud RS-232 communications are still standard specs...
